It was penalty IMO
That was a penalty, no other way around it. And Netherlands was also robbed of a penalty during the first half.

What a match, or at least what a last 15 minutes of it. We weren't perfect to say the least, but in the end we got through. Mexico deserves props, either team would have been a rightful winner and I would have peace with it. Your goalkeeper is awesome, he had some impossible saves. It's too bad we won't get to see more of him. Or, maybe you want to trade for our's for the rest of the tournament

1st pen for Oranje was clearer, but this was one as well.
Almost no one in the international press is saying that Mexico was robbed and instead that the Penalty was clear and cut. It sucks that it happened, but it's all Mexico and Rafa Marquez's fault.
He has the experience to know that any touch on your opponent's foot when he's shifting directions is gonna be sanctioned as a penalty more often than not.

Earlier in the game he was kicked* twice in the span of seconds and there was no penalty ;)
*kicked isnt the right word, since no one De Jong'd him. Tripped, maybe?
