This what I think our First XI should be for the first game. Bradley at the 6 was too good, and Nagbe was amazing last night. The front 3 is the most debatable selections, but Zardes/Zusi are the other options at RW/RM and Bedoya is much better than both. I would rather have Wood on the field in his secondary position than on the bench. You could also put Pulisic aka. The Yung LD out there, but I'd rather he not start against Columbia.

Again, I would love for that to translate to something. I remember a year ago beating Germany in Germany and Netherlands in Netherlands and then get outplayed by Jamaica and Panama when it mattered.  Friendlies are nice, but my focus is always qualifying and major tournaments as barometer for success.

He should be a great signing for Arsenal though, but they still need a striker.

Good to know a role they need really, thought another midfielder might be a bit much consider they have 2 world classes sitting in it. A world class striker is definitely what they need. No idea who though, poor Giroud, it's not like he had an awful season, just not as good as other strikers or Arsenal strikers before him.

Giroud is good but I don't think he's good enough to compete for first place or advance in Champions League

Good alternative to have in the bench. I don't know who they could sign though
