There are reasons why I very much disrespect Messi and Barcelona. So Suarez gets a hatrick...like he's never got those before, yet this is very disrespectful to the opposing keeper. Certain amount of arrogance I don't like.

Anyway, results in Saints favour this weekend, could do with Spurs losing at some point however.

How is this different from free kicks tricks? 3 players behind the ball, the first one jumps over it, the second one passes it, the third one kick actually kicks it. It happens a lot.

Personal opinion. I also don't like it when players stutter during their run. I think it's disrespectful. With a free kick there are the rest of the opposing team in the way and the objective of the free kick is to get around them, regardless of how you do this, with a penalty there is just you and the keeper.

Keep in mind I also believe that the person who get's fouled should take the penalty as they are the one who was going to shoot, not the best penalty taker.

Hmm, pie.

I watched that Barca - Celta Vigo game until that penalty. Unnecessary and disrespectful towards their opponent.. I expected no less from Suarez tho, but Messi? Then again, I've never liked Barcelona. And of course Arsenal had to draw them 😐 will be brutal.

Yeah, it's just a complete lack of respect for the other team. You're 3-1 up at home with 10 minutes left on the clock. If you wanted Suarez to get the hattrick, you let him take the penalty... You don't be a slimy little prick and pull some stunt to make the keeper and the other team look foolish.

But of course, it's Messi, so the media lap it up and give him plaudits.

Wtf 😁 none of us can do what these guys do, yet we discuss football and professional players. Nothing bitter about it. Disrespect and humiliation is something that doesn't belong to gentlemens sport. Has nothing to do with being sore loser, you should win with class too.
