ONLY if Nintendo manages to hype the Wii U sooooooooooooooo much, advertise.......and release games almost every single month. (with 2 months with no main game would be OK.)

Sure they compete with older consoles, Windows PCs, Mac, handhelds, smartphones and tablets. Each video games platform competes with every other platform which allows to play video games.

The number of people and the total revenue spent on video games aren't infinite, so every platform provider tries to advertise their eco system as the best option. Additionally, the whole video game industry is in competition with all other entertainment sectors. The time and money each individuum can spend for entertainment is limited, so every company in that industy is trying to get and enhance its share.

Any evidence to back this up? Or are you just being insulting because you can't actually come up with facts and evidence to counter it?

18 months of Wii U sales is my evidence. If everyone who bought a Wii was a fan (look up the meaning), or even 90% like the OP is suggesting, then Wii U would not be selling as badly as it is.  If Wii U ends up at more than 40 million lifetime I'll happily admit that my 75% was considerably off. But the way sales are going my 75% is looking pretty good.

These are pretty weak arguments in my opinion.

1. 22 million is not a success, and WiiU is trending way below the GC anyway.
2. The fact that Ninty series grew during one gen doesn't make it a trend. Actually, looking at Wii U sales we can confirm it was not a trend.
3. The market grew because Nintendo themselves expanded the market. Now that they have lost it the market will shrink again.

Nintendo didn't lose anything.  The world is losing touch with video games. Let's see if the Wii U sell a 100 million consoles or the XOne and PS4 sell 85 million consoles.  Most of the world is focusing on other things now.  Look at the PS4 in Japan or the XOne in Europe.

They are not making a profit on the Wii u- see Iwatas comments in the Investor Q and A.   They are only making profit on remaining inventory from last year as they already wrote down the losses on those in last years reporting-  any newly manufactured Wii u s will be sold at a loss still

So, you're saying Nitendo lost some market.

The one thing I try to make use of is the "preview" button below when I'm gonna make a big post just so you can see if it looks good when its been subbmitted, considering some things like embedded pictures and videos sometimes just go mental with size or simply not appearing in replies on here.

That said at 60 posts I'm guessing this was the first thread you made and it made it to 5 pages of replies back and forth so that's a cool contribution to the site :) good job.

Wii U is already a failure. Hitting 50 million would have been considered hitting even on success/failure, the 35 million sales they'll get at most is failure.
