I don't even know, to be honest it's before I can remember. Earliest I can remember is Playing/watching Earthbound and FFVI when I was 4/5. I know there were games I played before that though.

When I was really young I watched my Dad play computer games and it always fascinated me. I eventually got a Playstation as a present and that's where my gaming hobby started.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

It's kinda vague but it started with playing SNES with my brother when I was 4. We had Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros, and an X-Men game.

So far we all started player really young lol. I like it.

7 or 8 years old. My sister and I played Super Mario World, Contra 3, F-Zero, and Mortal Kombat 1 on the Super Nintendo.

It's hard to remember. I clearly recall that my brother, who's 5 years older, had a black and white Game Boy, and we shared a SNES. One of his GB's games were Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. On the SNES, we had Super Mario World, International Superstar Soccer, Street Fighter II and Aladdin - this one would become one of my favorite games ever. I was probably five, maybe even younger.

Fast forward to 2002, I got a PS1 for Christmas, with A SHIT TON of games. Had to be 50+ games: FFVIII, FFIX (no VII though), Tomb Raider, Tony Hawk 2, Spyro, it was just crazy really. I remember that I was AMAZED by FFVIII's visuals, but I didn't experience FFIX - my brother didn't enjoy it and traded it. Funny, because it would become my favorite game on the series, but anyway, that's where it began.

Two or three years later, I got a Game Boy Color for birthday. I asked for it for only one thing: Pokémon, and my parents delivered it, as the system came with Pokémon Silver. I've clocked over 150 hours on the damn thing, and the only reason I didn't complete the pokédex is because none of my friends had a Gameboy with Red/Blue or Gold. I also inherited Wario Land from my brother, and played the crap out of that too. Plus, I had Super Mario Land 2 as well. By the time I got to the PS2 (in 2006, I think), it was already estabilished as my absolute favorite hobby.

I don't need your post in here. It's fine without you

My father was a hard man. He was a work-a-holic who had little use for things like imagination or games. He only read non-fiction and his toys were more in the order of bulldozers and welding machines. He dug ponds, cleared lots, and drove log trucks as his entertainment, in addition to working full time at a production plant.

Imagine my absolute surprise when he brought home an Atari 2600 out of the blue. I still don't understand it. This was a man who did not like the fact that my mom and I liked to read fiction. He didn't play with his children and rarely tolerated silliness. Yet, as crazy as it sounds, he's the reason I got into video-gaming.

I wasn't quite old enough at the time to be good at video-games but I wanted to play. It wasn't long before my older sisters lost interest in the Atari and it truly became mine. At first, all I had was Combat, but luckily, game prices were falling fast and I could usually find something in the bargain bin that my mom would buy for me.

I still find it strange after all these years that my father would bring home a gaming system. He never even touched it himself or gave it a second glance after that. I'll never know why he bought it but I'm certainly glad that he did.
