It's hard to remember. I clearly recall that my brother, who's 5 years older, had a black and white Game Boy, and we shared a SNES. One of his GB's games were Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. On the SNES, we had Super Mario World, International Superstar Soccer, Street Fighter II and Aladdin - this one would become one of my favorite games ever. I was probably five, maybe even younger.

Fast forward to 2002, I got a PS1 for Christmas, with A SHIT TON of games. Had to be 50+ games: FFVIII, FFIX (no VII though), Tomb Raider, Tony Hawk 2, Spyro, it was just crazy really. I remember that I was AMAZED by FFVIII's visuals, but I didn't experience FFIX - my brother didn't enjoy it and traded it. Funny, because it would become my favorite game on the series, but anyway, that's where it began.

Two or three years later, I got a Game Boy Color for birthday. I asked for it for only one thing: Pokémon, and my parents delivered it, as the system came with Pokémon Silver. I've clocked over 150 hours on the damn thing, and the only reason I didn't complete the pokédex is because none of my friends had a Gameboy with Red/Blue or Gold. I also inherited Wario Land from my brother, and played the crap out of that too. Plus, I had Super Mario Land 2 as well. By the time I got to the PS2 (in 2006, I think), it was already estabilished as my absolute favorite hobby.
