He didn't as what your favorite games are. He asked what defined last gen. You didn't have to have played them to know they where important.

GTA5 was, to me, everything wrong with last gen.

Those are the ones that define it. I only love Soul's, and I think Gears of War, skyrim and Uncharted are pretty fun, but... I won't ever play them again. And the other ones bleh. 

if I was to make a list of the best games (my favorite) only the souls games would be on it. And the others would be way different.

I agree with a lot of the other posters listed games. I'm surprised and pleased that almost no one said gta.... I personally think that series blows, and is the most overrated game series... Ever.

You may very well be right, I haven't played it yet.  But from what I've seen the game looks crazy.

It's crazy, and was really fun sometimes, but after finishing the game I was kinda let down. It felt cheap and tacky compared to GTA4, which, for all the hate that it gets, had an amazing story and justified its main character.

If you don't care about characters or story the game is amazing, but the former were terrible enough to make me regret buying it Day 1.
