the ps3 didnt deliver with jrpgs and its looking like ps4 is going to be even worse. the wii, on the other hand, had a lot of jrpgs and a lot of japanese inspired games in general. you were either unable to embrace the new control style (which is a shame, really), or you didnt bother to look and see if there were any games you wanted to play. either way you missed out big time. and the graphics really arent that bad at all. 

Are you crazy man? You're not going to get anywhere with that point. I think I'd be able to count the number of worthwhile JRPGs on Wii on one hand, maybe two if I'm really generous. PS3 certainly wasn't the PS2 or PS1 in terms of JRPG prevalence, but compared to the Wii it had many.

OT: Amongst many gamers Nintendo has gone beyond niche and into disparaged, sadly. As if Nintendo had done some crime against their "hardcore" gaming preferences and insulted them personally. Still myself I'm just getting over being a little cautious in admitting my affection for modern Nintendo games to others. I'm not sure that their popularity is actually any lower than ever, but the backlash is much stronger than it ever had been.

I mean they may be able to salvage something, 30 million sales should be considered a success at this point and I think it's possible.
