See your own deleted quotes for your answers. 1 - And in what world have the hardcore got pleased by the gamepad? Most seem to preffer the classic one, same with third parties. If Nintendo seriously tough a severely underpowered console with a tablet attached to it (it is in no way a standard controller) would make the hardcore and third parties jizz then they are even more disconected from reality than we think. They tried to keep attracting casuals but also "make ammends" with hardcore, but seem to failed to both by falling in the middle. 2 - I said that the gamepad was made on a new try to keep bringing casuals, haven't heard much complain on hardcore side about X360/PS3 controller being to traditional and needing some gimmick on them... from the standard x360 controller we usually hear praises (with mild complaints about the D-pad) and from PS3 we heard complaints about the ineficient trigger (for people into FPS and some on racing), non-anatomic and too small, that were improved and included a "semi-useless tracking pad". So I would say that in the controller side MS and Sony knows what hardcore want not Nintendo. 3 - You were basically saying all the time how nintendo were doing things to gain third party support, and now ..... I will repeat that most of Nintendo problems with third parties come not from power or even controller, but from Nintendo politics and lack of interest from owners. Ubisoft is Nintendo best 3rd party support and get a lot of complaints from Nintendo owners for all kind of things and boycot vows. They have a lot to complain even tough Dance Central or what it is called sells good. |
1. Are you arguing against what I'm saying or agreeing with me? Because all you're saying is the same thing I was pointing out to the last poster. And the gamepad is every bit a standard controller, it just happens to also have extra inputs. Does the touch input on PS4's DS4 make it any less of a standard controller?
2. Like I said in my last post, Nintendo were trying to unite both casual and hardcore on one machine. So the gamepad's touch-screen, to them, would make it possible to create more comlex games with standard controller input plus the touchscreen input possibilities while also being able to make games simpler. They went on and on about all this at Wii U's reveal.
3. ... WTF are you talking about? Reverting how? You obviously don't really understand what I was arguing about since, through-out your post, you keep rebuting arguments I never even made. I can't fault you for that since you're from Brazil, I would assume you're not a natural English speaker.
Rayman Legends was originally a Wii U exclusive and got delayed to be multiplat about a month before it was due to release on Wii U. WatchDogs Wii U was put on the backburner so other versions could be prioritized. In those situations, what do you expect forum posters to do? Not get pissed? The reaction would have been the same by any other platform's fanbase in that situation, so don't act like Ubisoft get's some kind of unfair treatment by Nintendo gamers. Like I said, they had really good sales and profits from Wii software sales and it wasn't from Just Dance alone.
