Except a strong community of friends that kept the discussion going, even if it meant having a bit of fun from time to time. A strong enough community to get another web site up and running which is 4 to 5 times as large as the new nation thread is today. And will only grow. So yes, a big loss happened on this site the day we deicide we don’t need it.   Glad no one really cares about your opinion.

That sounds real desperate... man your opinions are your own, but to me it doesn't seem like you are fully utilzing your crital thought ablities. That was the least amount of discussion in that entire post about anything, yet you see it as desperate to barely mention it? To me that reeks of flawed logic.

Continuing in that fashion you imply that the quality of the (old)PS Nation thread was lacking. How do you define the quality of a discussion? People talking to each other, listening, responding, and enjoying a discussion (all in a respectful manner) is how I would define quality. To those who were participating in the discussion it was of high quality to them which is why it was so active. Those that didn't find value in that discussion didn't post that much if at all. There are many threads here in which the sole purpose of its creation is click bait and flame baiting and those topics quickly degrade into a lack of real discussion in lieu of e-peen envy. That is what this forum fosters and protects with its rules and mod team.

Most of what you have posted in this topic Carl has not been founded in any real basis of fact and your impressions / perceptions are off greatly in the matter.

That discussion was all fine and dandy, or at least it would have been if you would have kept it within the rule set. A bunch of you simply couldnt do that. When we get reports from users complaining about spam over and over again, then you know it isnt a good thread for discussion. Same goes for reports about sexual harrasment. The list could go on. If you lot feel that you simply cant stick to that rule set, then a different forum is best for you. Im happy that a bunch of you decided to move along.

Some of you guys just didnt get it. If that means you need to up sticks for another forum, its fine by me.

I told kirby he was out of order with his posts. As a side note, he would have been banned had he not said he was drunk and proceeded to go offline. I decided to give him a chance, seeing as how he hasnt had a Flaming moderation for about 6 Months.

Yes, I saw the fishing rod with pezus' name on it as being somewhat desperately trying to get people to go over.

The discussion in the old PS Nation thread frequently devolved into talk about fucking eachother or eachothers family members (Hi Raven!). Into pointless posting of off topic gifs and images. It was simply not PlayStation discussion. A thread in the Sony forum about PlayStation content simply should be focussed on PlayStation talk. People who frequent fthe forums should feel comfortable enough to enter any thread that isnt in the NSFW section. The truth is this - A bunch of users in that thread did indeed form a little community. The problem is, the very same members thought that they were above the rule set.

Im all for the odd, random joke in a thread or a little side chatter about football or whatever... But when it takes up so much of a thread then its a problem.

All of the bolded make you look really professional. You shold have never been a mod car. You showed history of going in to the nation thread, reporting a bunch of people and braging about it else where on the fourms when you got a few people banned. The list of what you've doen right is much shorter, so let me post it for you.
