Ubisoft should make EXCLUSIVE Wii U content. As they did on the Wii.

Ubi: give us RED STEEL 3 !!

I don't blame them. I am helping to admin a Facebook group dedicated to the Wii U and they are very close minded when is third party developed games, essentially there are 3 type of gamers on that regards:
1. They don't consider that 3rd party games are worth the asking price
2. Others have a limited amount of money so they only purchase games developed/published by Nintendo because they trust that those games are fun
3. Some have a second console or system and don't use the Wii U for 3rd party games

I have been trying to change their minds a little bit, but it is very difficult to do it. I know I did my part, bought 3 games published by Ubisoft, all of them on their release month, but there is a saying in my country that says..."One swallow does not make Spring", meaning that the effort of one is not enough.

Why support a system even Nintendo is failing to actually commit to? They have failed miserably in conveying to the consumer how does it warrant a purchase.

Ok, so I was right.

I own the Wii U, I don't own any other consoles, and I doubt I will. I did buy Assassins Creed 3 and 4 for the Wii U, and my lord! The games are terrible. One of the bright spots of Nintendo's ill-fated attempt to attract third party support is that it has given me this opportunity to waste a few hundred dollars on pieces of thrash so I can confirm that for the most part, what the 'AAA' industry thinks is good and what I enjoy is two completely different things.

I used to be somewhat concerned that the Wii U would not get games from third party publishers and that would leave me with nothing to play. Those fears have been effectively put to rest by seeing how much great content I can access through the virtual console, indie games and Nintendo first party and seeing what type of stuff third parties are actually hellbent on putting out there. As far as I am concerned, most third parties could disappear tomorrow, and it wouldn't affect me much.

Far Cry 4 isn't surprising since Far Cry 3 didn't come to the Wii U. The only game they would really be dropping is Assassin's Creed. But who know what will happen if MK can boost sales to their liking.

If it came down to Nintendo or Ubisoft, it'll definitely be Nintendo. Me and my Wii U is boss. There is nothing more I can say. Oh, I won't be buying another console either.
