I meant to say that I think there will be millions more (many millions) of gamers that buy a Wii U for mk8 over it's lifespan. In particular though, I do think there will be a LOT of people that buy Wii U prior to the launch of these news games, but after MK8 launches, that will want to buy more games. Sorry for the confusion.

Sadly for X, none of them will sell well. Bayonetta 2 was a bad investment from the start so I dont think they will pump more money into marketing for it. They will do the bare minimum for it. Hyrule warriors is just dynasty warriors with a zelda skin. I dont think you will see Nintendo promoting it very much either as I think it will probably meta in the low 70's.

X is going to be a great game, and has the potential for great sales, but sadly nintendo wont promote it outside of japan.

So, morale of the story is Nintendo isnt going to give any of these games the marketing campaign they need to have blockbuster sales. Like the op said, I think the ceiling for all these titles is 1 million, they wont sell more than that, and likely to sell much worse...

I won't comment on Hyrule Warriors or Bayonetta 2, but I think that after what happened with Xenoblade, Nintendo realized that there is demand for these games in the West, and the fact that they have used it in its biggest directs is proof that they want people to notice it.

So no, I think you're wrong about "X" and Nintendo will promote it in every market. I'd be surprised if "X" is not the best selling of the three games.

I doubt that any of them will pass the million mark... But X and Bayonetta 2 look pretty expensive, I'm pretty certain that both will be commercial disappointments.

Hyrule looks cheaper, there are some sales needs to be passed because of the Zelda universe, but if it does a bit better then your average DW game, it will be OK :|

So I will say anywhere from 300-900k form all 3, DD included.

Bayonetta 2- 800,000 year sales (1.2 million lifetime)

Hyrule Warriors- 500,000 year sales (700,000 lifetime)
