Me, if Microsoft don't try and buy up all the studios, i'd like Samsung to try and pay top dollar for Playstation. I never want PS to leave sony but only in last resorts. Samsung has similar values to sony in that they both try to offer premium products, and Samsung don't have a gaming division, but with playstation + samsung, I think it could be a strong force.

I hope the studios wouldn't be sold seperately, like the THQ departure, but I do hope Kaz sells it to someone good, if it comes to it.

I don't know, I don't think it would be the same without Sony.

Maybe I would be fine if Google picked up the entire Sony brand? They did a pretty good job with Motorola before they sold it.

Edit: Anyone but Samsung though. Sony is known for high-class products, Samsung is known for bloated UIs and cheapness. 

Easy question, Valve. They would struggle with it so maybe a Valve funded by Samsung or LG.

Well I'd expect Microsoft to jump on that opportunity. Maybe Google, I could see them doing alright with it.

Actually. Having a version of Android with Google play music and all my apps running on a PS5 doesn't sound too bad at all.

More than likely it would be Amazon or Facebook, i dont think anyone else would be interested in running an entertainment company the size of playstation.

I've already enjoyed myself fantasizing of Sony collapsing and playing its IPs on Xbox.

I think it would be fine if they spun it out as an independent game company. I dont think I would like any of the likely big companies taking them over (samsung, google, apple, etc.). Might be interesting if they got spun out out and merged with one of the big publishers like Activison or EA...

The best course for them would be the path of independence though. Same goes for xbox division if it gets cut by microsoft.
