Any company that buys the PlayStation division and keep it and the Worldwide Studios alive is fine by me.
Microsoft or Nintendo seem like decent choices, as that would combine the Sony ips with the Big N/MS's ones in just one console.

Samsung would be terrible. They get on top because of their sheer size, but then just stop innovating. They use gimmicky software and dubious hardware that is cheap compared to the rest of the competition.

Nintendo have hardware folk who work at Nintendo. Playstation's hardware is a mix of SCEI and Sony, if you sell SCE you're hardly going to give them the patents from Sony. COmparing nintendo to sony is silly because Nintendo are there own business so there hardware teams lies within the nintendo brand. Some of playstations hardware team is from Sony's own engineers.

I think the Playstation corporate folk would be far more open to it than most would realize. I think the Nintendo company could adjust to it with the right leadership.

Overall, I think there'd be a good chance of a nicely balanced direction if they can work out a good hardware direction. And do this: Let Nintendo make Nintendo games and let Playstation figure out the rest (3rd party support, marketing, manufacturing, etc).

I would probably burn my games, destroy my modem and start living in a cave.

Perhaps they should go third-party.
