Hasn't ioi commented and said that their estimates are within a 10% margin of error? 10% is completely fine; that's far from the case here.

LOL wtf is up with that? I seriously puzzled as to why people are so hyped for this game ? Whats the selling point for Destiny apart from Bungie.

That might be the answer. FPS usually do well and Bungie being on Sony platforms probably has people excited. 

Yep but Titanfall was also a FPS...and if Destiny already has such huge numbers then it will dwarf Titanfall. And titanfall had a reall good opening week.

I just don't see why it would do that much better than Titanfall, from a game point of view. Looking at the trailers etc. destiny has come across pretty average.

To be fair, many pre-orders are only being made because of the beta. Like me; i pre-ordered to get a beta key but i'm going to cancel it (once Amazon gives me the key) as i'm not particularly interested in the game, and i'm not going to buy it.

They were meant to be good games. Not games that saved the PS3. They all sucked very badly besides motorstorm which some people loved. Xbone on the other hand has good games already. Also your argument is terrible.

With the PS4 apparently being close to 2:1 to the X1 it seems that vgchartz were pretty right about those numbers, the 360 was accurate as well all other systems might be wrong a little but nothing as severe as the X1.

So seriously, why the hell was vgchartz so completely off the mark with the X1?

Pachter gave props to their archive of numbers, which have all been adjusted to reflect official trackers and shipments.  Not to their predicting prowess.  Not that he's any better.  And I think people have a right to call out VGC like this.  It has been obvious for awhile now that the PS4 is outselling the One in the US, yet they refuse to adjust their tracking methods.  Most people question the numbers out of love and want it to be as accurate as possible, so there's nothing wrong with calling the site out.  Jsut as long as you're not being a complete dick about it.

Lol, it's cool.  Also, I edited it to say most people on VGC call it out, cause they want it to be accurate.  Outsiders () can be dicks about it, though.  I agree with you there.

Just the vague "Summer" line. My guess is early August
