Are those game division numbers or Sony as a whole?

And to be fair, those Nintendo numbers includes GBA.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I would say it will be more profitable than the PS2 for the simple reason that, now, Sony has a lot of good first party games that sell well.

Considering that they seem to be of a very good start, and less loses than on Ps3, it might be more profitable, but I doubt on ps2 levels.

Is Sony the red one? Assuming Nintendo is blue why didn't they exist before the Gamecube?

It is worth mentioning that they said as profitable as PS2, the later PS2 years and early PS3 years would have had lots of PS3 and maybe PSP costs as well so the PS2 only profit would be higher than the graph shows.

Yes sony is the red one, why it doesn't include nintendo pre Gc i'm not sure but that doesn't really matter for the topic.
While the Ps2 era was indeed profitable it also shows that a console that sold +- 22 million had around the same profit

Errrr, no that shows Nintendo was making a lot of profit off the GBA, which on a year to year basis in its prime was outselling the current 3DS easily. Nintendo was also raking in tons of money from Pokemon product licensing (toys, movies, etc.) in the late 90s/early 2000s which buoyed their profit margins and made up for a lower selling GameCube.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that it just shows the last 2 gens, as there isn't any ps1 data

If they say PS4 will be as profitable as a Wii then it will be a feat!

The PS2 wasn't as impressive as the Wii when it came to profitability, so I definitely see the PS4 being more profitable than the PS2!

It starts with the PS2/GC/XB generation. So its not going to show the consoles before then.
