Sounds like he will be the arrogant character with a shady past, kind of like Alvin from Xillia

Indeed, he looks a bit too obvious but I never saw a Tales of game when the traitor wasn't obvious. They always give a small hint as to who the traitor is the more you play the game. Alvin was a bit too much though, he betrayed the party multiple times for the whole game and they still accepted him back each time... It was pretty weird.

Maybe it's a bluff! He'll be the most loyal person in the party.

Tales of Zestiria is looking and sounding pretty generic. Not Tales of Graces bland, but its gettin there. I wish this team would stop playing it safe with this series and think outside the box. Be more subtle, something this series has a hard time doing design and story wise. Looking at this character and previous reveals, there not even trying.

They got the game part down. Now they need one good writer and new artist to pull this series out of the B, sometimes C pile and into A class

Man I really have to stop looking at this stuff for Zestiria. Have to beat Graces f, Xillia, Xilla 2, Symphonia Chronicles, Hearts R and Abyss 3D first... yeah =P
