I still have the iphone 4 and haven't upgraded in over 2 years. Iphone 5 just did'nt seem worth it 2 me. I read that there going to make the screen bigger on the iphone 6,but some how smaller. I personally like that idea. My sister has some version of the samsung galaxy and although it's a cool phone,the screen is just way to big for my taste. the only things I really care about on my phone are the gps and checking the weather. that's pretty much it. So,with all that being said,should I wait for the iphone 6?

If it doesn't need to be an iPhone, just get an Android phone. They are way cheaper and also more powerful. If you like smaller screens, give the Xperia Z1 Compact a try. It comes with High End Hardware and a 4.2 inch screen.

Also if your iPhone 4 still works, just keep it until it breaks. A new phone won't do anything your iPhone 4 can't. Sure it could be faster at some tasks, but that's no reason to spend 500+ $ imo.

If all you care about is GPS and weather, then I don't know what an iPhone 6 could possibly offer you that current models don't offer. Longer software support, maybe?

I'll just say one thing. If the 6 offers a larger screen, I'm confident Apple will also produce a 4-inch iPhone 6 with identical specs. Just as iPad Mini Retina and iPad Air are the same device in two sizes, I expect Apple to do the same with phones.

You are used to iOS so just stick with the Iphone. If you don't want a phone with a big screen then get the Iphone 5S.

I have the xperia z1 andit is snappy as hell. The compact model has the same power and features but in a smaller screen that should fit you just fine. Id recommend you get that over an iPhone 5/6 also because of price.

I'd get the Sony Xperia Z1. Way better phone at around the same price.

Wait for the iphone 6.. Then we could be phone buddies.. Thats priceless..

Since you already use iOS, might as well stick with it. (I greatly prefer Android, NEXUS to be exact)

But I am in similar situation. I have Nexus4 and wife has Nexus5. I'm waiting for Nexus6. My phone works great and I'd rather have a bigger upgrade than just a one year transition.

You know its coming this year and so long as your current phone works, why not wait.

Also, your sister's phone is likely the Note. Those are 6" screens while Apple's iPhone6 will be closer to 5", like most phones on the market.

If all you need are GPS and weather, why upgrade at all? And if you're going to upgrade, why does it have to be an expensive iPhone instead of some cheaper phone offering the same features? IMHO you're going to be wasting money.

Yes you should get an Android.
