I agree, you shouldn't upgrade if you don't have a good reason to. Don't get rid of your phone if it works fine. That's perceived obseloscence, and it is good for capitalism but bad for consumers. 

Hi there! There is no Android phone that will actually be better than the iPhone 6 upon its launch. You are totally right to wait for it! However, do not base yourself on the various speculations about the design and interface of the phone; it’s all likely to be the work of con masters. Wait for an official Apple announcement to learn more and go for it when it’s time for it!

Wait for the 6. I've had an iPhone 3, 4, and 5, and more than likely will get the 6. I've tried other peoples Android phones, but i just like the iPhone better personally.

The iPhone 6 is definitely launching soon, so upgrading to the 5S now would be quite stupid and useless. However, if the 6 ends up being something you don't want, then you can get the 5S at reduced costs.

Also, stick with iOS. Android is overrated on the interwebs.
