It's not too late but they better hurry before Disney releases a ton of Marvel and Starwars for Disney Infinite.

2 things: I would love for Nintendo to do an amazing NFC Pokemon RPG game, and I wish Konami would get on this with Yu-Gi-Oh!

If they had a real vision for it in the first place, no - not at all.
If they didn't, then yes.

We'll see at E3.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

So, Nintendo is not going to be at E3 because they will make their proper event called E2.

Wait... You've never been to E2?! That's where they announced the dreamcast 2 and half life 3!

I'm sure this year's will be spectacular.

It will probably make a lot of money if they play their cards right. We will see at E3 how everything goes out!

what if they release Mario universe with nfc.... do you think it is still too late????

It's always "too late" for Nintendo.

C'mon, you guys remember R2E2 and his buddy E3PO.

Not too late for a technology that could change the way we play Nintendo games. It really just depends on their implementation and the ability to inspire gamers. If they roll out with a strategy similar to the way they have dealt with the WiiPad thus far, expect doom and gloom.
