Forums - Gaming - What do the big three need to announce at E3 to get you to buy a Wii U/X1/PS4?

It's really nice to see that most people would at least consider all three under the right conditions, and that for the most part, everyone has some semi-realistic desire that the company could fulfill. Old dormant IPs, new promising IPs, better hardware utilization, price cuts, we're all just gamers at heart that would get any system that offered the right experience at the right price.

I already have WiiU and PS4.

If M$ announced a full on classic Banjo Kazooie game, then perhaps i'd consider getting X1.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Wii U: Already own

PS4: New model with backwards compatibility, some games I actually want to play, and free online

XB1: No

After a lot of years I'm going back on the PC, I might consider the PS4 because is slim, I like its aesthetic and works with my PS Vita but ONLY WHEN I CAN HOLD WITH MY HANDS A REAL COPY OF The Last Guardian.
They should show TLG at E3 to have my attention again.
(It's just that the video card I want costs the same as the PS4 so obviously I won't have the money for another console, I always keep the old ones and have plenty of games to play on those, no hurry for me this time)
If Persona 5 would have been exclusive to PS4 I would have bought it at the game launch, but it's impossibile

Sorry for not being strictly on topic.

EDIT: I'm already a PS PLUS member and I'm adding every month those little ps4 games, ps4 makes sense for me just because of that and the not bad price.

Persona 5 on PS3, I won't need next gen!

PS4: Already own. If i didn't project Morpheus could probably pursuede me to buy one.

Xbox One: Not interested in. It probably won't get many exclusives after about two years and alot will be playable on PC.

Wii-U: A price cut and a few new IP's that actually use the tablet controller.

You keep on believing that.

Loll, well its not that I don't want One... Its just that its a bit pricey and the last years of the 360 left a bad taste in my mouth with endless amounts of kiddie kinect nonsense and other things like that. I do love the X1 controller more than the ps4 but the $500 price tag along with some anime games wants me to be in the Sony camp lolll but anything can happen and so far, MS has impressed me. I even said that in a few threads, as of right now if I needed to choose between the x1 and ps4, I would choose the x1 based on the games for now so if they can keep that up, then I am sold provided they cut the price to $399.98

Oh and No Worries! :D

PS: 360 did have tales of Vasperia which was a 360 exclusive for NA and it was one of the best tales games ever so there is that

lol yeah, I got mine for Christmas, but I totally understand that steep price, especially with MS' track record. I've always said, it's all good that MS if more about games, but my biggest concern is, are they going to continue that trend. People have all the right to dump on MS for how they ended the 360 in it's final years. They've even admitted they have made that mistake. Hopefully they aren't just getting excluisves for year 1 and 2. Hopefully we see a price drop, more JRPGs announced, and a lot more exclusive games 1st and 3rd party and not just timed DLC...

i would say that at least MS effort towards providing games to the X1 seems to be legit.  They have create more studios.  They have increase the staff of existing studios so they can work on multiple projects and last but not least they made a games guy instead of a buisness guy the head of the division.  The outlook for the X1 looks way better than the 360 but only time will tell.

PS4 - Needs more JRPGs ...

XBO - Halo and a $300 price tag will do the trick and maybe sooner if they can get me interested in a new IP.

WII U - It already has some games coming out that I want but it needs a much lower price tag on the lines of $100.

WiiU: a better price
PS4: a better price and great games (something like SotC), Skyrim etc.
X1: not interested

Already Own

3DS - Just keep doing like you have been, maybe some more JRPGs
PSV - This year is insanely good for the system, already happy before E3
PS4 - Really want a JRPG on the system. Also, would love to see Crash back or Sly or Ratchet and Clank.

Do Not Own

Wii U - Not much, just bring out the games you plan on and likely get it in the next year. JRPGs help and if I can be greedy Mario Galaxy 3 or least Galaxy 1/2 HD.
X1 - The biggest uphill climb, Grandia IV or Grandia II remake would do it. Other than that I am not sure how Microsoft could win me over after last year.

XboxOne: Tom clancy's the division

Wii U: MK 8

ps4: do not need a ps4, FFXV is on xboxOne anyway
