Muslims are 1/6 of making, a much more significant group of people than gays, and Mii's cant wear burqas, you just cant satisfy everybody, and budget matters too, they are in this for the money. I dont think there was any need to apologize.

I think I've come up with a solution: Miis should not have genders. As it is, choosing male or female does not affect the assets available for customization. Players could simply create a Mii that looks and acts however they want, and it wouldn't need a defined gender.

Just watch the first 2 minutes.  All you would have to add is a who would you marry, date, like LIKE and have an extra middle option for the male and female. Problem solved.

I'm a supporter of marriage equality, but Nintendo didn't have much of a choice here; they're in too dire a situation to afford to alienate conservative bigots.

I wish those with confused and perverted minds would leave Nintendo alone? If they want to hold on to traditional family values, then let them. We don't all accept gay as ok. Maybe Nintendo doesn't. I'm not hating on gays, but I don't believe it is acceptable to God. Hate the sin, not the sinner.

You're allowed to be a bigot, but others shouldn't have to live their lives in accordance with your bigotry.

Or maybe they have a different system of beliefs. Just because someone does not agree with the legal definition of marriage that you believe in, does not mean they are a bigot. 


But it's demeaning to homosexuals not to be included it's dicrimination

Sigh. Once again somebody failing to grasp a simple concept. A gay movie store is so called because it stocks gay movies. If it stocked straight pornos, it would just be an adult movie store. They specialise so that there is no confusion and save the blushes of any people who may get confused. Nobody is "yelling" or "screaming" about rights. To put it as simply as possible, in a life simulator, it would be nice to be able to simulate our own lives in this cute fantasy world that Nintendo has created. And without that option, there seems little reason to play it. And you say "only" 7/8%? Out of 7 billion people, that's a hell of a lot of people. 


So you are saying it's ok to have an all gay movie store but you cant have a game that has just straight people in it?

No one is screaming anything. Especially not that their rights are being violated. I'm also curious as to where you are hearing this everytime they aren't included in something. Tons of games movies etc come out and I hardly ever see such articles.  

I'm sad to live in a society where people think I need to be repeatedly beaten, lynched or assaulted just to discuss my rights.  


Disney is getting high pressure by LGBT to release a character who is gay, people in AZ are getting sued for not making a cake for a gay wedding, and i can go on and on. What was the purpose of this young man to bitch about this game if he wasn't screaming about how unfaiir it is?  

Do have any clue what a right is? A right is being able to walk down the street without getting assualted or beating by any man or government, not forcing someone to change a game or a make them a cake. Go play SIMs or Go to another store that will make the cake

Gays are frequently beaten up and assaulted in the streets for being gay.
