Mario 3D World deserves to sell at least 10 million!

Nintendo obviously included digital sales, which VGC doesn't?

Wow, NSMBU has a huge attach-rate

good for them. plus its 2 poke games..... it counts twice? Its more realistically 6.13 million peeps served. Amaizing on selling the same game twice with a different cover.

Super Mario 3D World only majorly successful software release that wasn't bundled

That isn't an entirely fair assessment, considering that NSMBU sold around 3 mil. + on it's own, long BEFORE the bundle surfaced a year after launch. And the fact of the matter is, it would have likely sold more than that, if Nintendo had not been short-sighted enough to release NSMB2 on 3DS mere months before. They should have released the two games MUCH farther apart. In fact, I'll even go so far as to say that NSMBU should have come out first, because it would have had a lot more enthusiasm over it as a 2013 stand-alone. As it was, the NSMB line was feeling oversaturated, and even though U was a great (see: better) game, it still did worse than it could have, because Nintendo accidentally sabatoged it with NSMB2's prior release.

Most people don't bother to buy both Pokemon games with each release. They usually pick one and stick with it, because why the hell would you waste the money to buy two copies of what is (with minor exception) the exact same game?

Hmm, not bad VGC. You seem pretty much right on there.

Nice to get through to the good news from the conference I suppose. Well, relatively.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
