Which begs the question - What the hell do they have for this Holiday? They need E3 surprises.

I wouldn't necessarily expect too much for this year and honestly, their sales this holiday season will probably be great on multiplats alone, forums will be annoying though.

Sony will really need to announce a November exclusive game a E3 or else it's pretty much guaranted that XboxOne will catch up.(USA)

Sony is really lucky that MS has a crappy holiday lineup (unless E3 changes that) this year as well. If they would have Halo 5 ready by this holiday, US would be a slaughter house.

Anyway thank god for AC Unity and Batman to a lesser extent cause it looks like they will be the biggest next gen exclusive selling points this year. And if Sony has nothing more this holiday, we'll be looking at the worst year for a Sony home console exclusives wise since PS2 days when they didn't have half the studios they have now, pretty much?

Pretty much him, but I've seen someone on NeoGaf say that he also heard from a "reliable source" that the game is now early 2015 and famousmortimer also said it's 2015, but he's fallen from grace so I guess he doesn't count. It's not confirmed but I'd say it's very heavily rumoured.

And yeah, the way it looks right now the Halo Collection (about which Shinobi also said he had some information people might not like btw) will be the biggest exclusive this holiday between the two of them, Forza Horizon isn't really big and Sunset Overdrive, while looking pretty great in my opinion, doesn't seem to have captured the masses as of now and I think we still have good reason to be a bit careful if Insomniac can deliver.

Like I've said, Sony should have probably put some 2013 PS3 games on PS4 instead. God of War Acsension, Puppeteer (this one definitely cause it would have done so much better with the little competition it would've faced on PS4)and GT6 as 2014 PS4 games? People would be ecstatic.

nothing. Their Holiday lineup is DriveClub. they will probably release GoW:A remastered on PS4 this Nov too. since shinobi said it was coming. i doubt they will have any E3 announcments for this year. Sony dropped the ball IMO

DriveClub and most probably GoW:A remastered. Next year though might be huge. 

Ohh ok. I am conservative about Shinobi cause he was just a regular Gaf member just half a year ago, a news guy, but he was just quick at reposting stuff, articles or tweets, not breaking anything himself though. He was not an insider by any stretch of the word and now suddenly he is an insider, I really wonder what changed. But if more people, especially famous are saying the same then I can absolutely believe that.

And about the games, you're totally right. A lot of people on this boards were saying long time ago that 2013 a good year for gamers but absolutely mishandled by Sony. Overkill for a slowly dying platform, while a fresh but strugling platform had too little big games and to be released PS4 with a launch lineup considered as generally lacking in the exclusive department.

As much as I like Yoshida and he's a great for greenlighting projects, leaving creative freedom, yada yada, he's not a good strategist nor businessman but that's nothing new.
