I think I've made a bad bad mistake haha.
So here is the story, I had put off buying TLOU for a year an a half because I just knew it would come to the PS4, but didn't have one until now :) So I load it up, and proceed to the difficulty settings, and think, why the hell not, didn't find the Uncharted games too challenging (outside the very end when the supernatural stuff starts happening), so I scroll down to the hardest difficulty setting 'grounded' and oh boy. I don't think that I've played a game this challenging since my first run through Demon's Souls 4 years ago and was thinking the best way to proceed was 2 handing the bastard sword you get at the start......with heavy armour that was useless. So for a start almost every small section of the game takes almost half an hour to get through, and I have gotten massively stuck before for well over an hour. The most annoying part being getting the car battery and then getting it going, mostly due to sever lack of resources, it being fairly action heavy and Billy being completely useless (the amount of times I died trying to save his arse from a runner during the bloater boss fight, my god).
So the question is, will there be a point where I just can't proceed? I'm currently about to go into the hotel, and if this gets any harder I might just have to quit, which I don't want to do, as I feel like I've gotten so far already, and I really want the trophy.
Has anybody else played TLOU on grounded difficulty, and what did you think?
