Yeah, Kaz owns/started Polyphony Digital (maker of GT).  I actually think he'd score it higher, not only for the AI, but the attention to detail with regards to the cars themselves, as well as the environment.  Kaz is someone who is notorious for just loving to drive.  And he is quite good at it.

He loves to drive, but I don't think he would care much about the attention to detail. I mean, just look at Gran Turismo 5 and 6. And he definitely wouldn't be too fond of arcade racing.

Then again, playing Driveclub might help him to create a more inspired game next time.

I'm not so sure!

Yamauchi first game before GT:

I love Driveclub but it's not a better game than GT. Racing in Driveclub is awesome, and setting better times is great too. Dirty racing against AI is what DC does better. The AI in GT is Canadian, trying to avoid you, practically apologizing to you when you hit them.

Doing clean competition races in DC on or offline is practically impossible. Racing close together, passing at the opportune moment without touching is the thrill that GT can give you. GT has the emphasis on driving clean in a wide variety of cars and provides countless events and tests for that experience.

As far as sound goes, I find that the weakest point of DC. Surround effects are well used, but during gameplay there is no bass at all. My subwoofer keeps switching off after 10 minutes of lapping, indicating there's no sound below 80hz, then turns back on for the menu music. GT lets you choose your setup and sounds mighty at full dynamic range. The sound options in TLoU remastered are the best. That lets you match the position of your surround speakers in the options. Would be cool if that was a system wide setup option.

Anyway should GT7 adopt aggressive AI? Dunno, it wouldn't feel like GT anymore. What it does need is to have the AI match your car performance. Only a few races in GT are really competitive where the cars are limited by the event. All the other ones you can easily have an overpowered car and leave them all in the dust by the second corner. It became more a game of how many I could lap before the race was over. It's more an overtaking simulator than a racing simulator.

Yea i agree TLOU surround effects are quite good. Same with alien isolation. If you put it to full dynamic range , the surround effects are glorious , especially when the alien is somewhere but yuo can hear it all around you lol.  Sounds like DC is a fun game which is a good thing.

Awesome, I have Alien isolation installed and updated, ready to play as soon as I can get myself away from DC. Might still be a while.

Anyone getting Legend of Korra next week?

Nope, I can't stand Platinum's games. But I really miss an action/hack n' slash game on the PS4 :-/

Hellblade seems early in development, next GoW is probably 2016, will we see next DMC after last games' underperformance?

Damn I would even dig a Ascension remaster.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Media Molecule will be at the PlayStation event in December

Surely they'll be showing at least Tearaway?

and Maybe a pupperter remix?!

Yep, it was pretty much only the first chapter of the Evit Within that was a pain in the ass. I am really liking the game now. There are traps everywhere, as well as zombies/infected? Stealth movement is key to survival.

Now the game feels challenging in all the right ways. Great atmosphere, really creepy feel to it. You can hear the infected making noises way before you see them, it makes the game even creepier.
