Can't wait for the conspiracy theories on this one

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

You’re Invited: PlayStation Experience Event in December

Here we go! I’m happy to announce our very first PlayStation Experience, a massive two-day community event dedicated to the people who bring PlayStation to life: you! We’ve been planning this bad boy for some time… and with PlayStation’s 20-year anniversary just around the corner, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Prepare for two intense days of PlayStation gaming, content, and activities. Attendees will sit in on in-depth panels, meet the industry’s best developers, score hands-on gameplay with tons of upcoming PlayStation games, collect free swag, and get a chance to purchase rare collectibles directly from their favorite game studios. Attendees will also get an exclusive first look at what’s coming next in 2015, which I am told you will not want to miss.

The two-day community event will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6th and 7th, 2014. And stay tuned for October 20th, when we release details on how you can be part of this legendary event; the one-day pass will cost $50.00, with the two-day pass going for $90. The venue is huge, too, so we’ll have plenty of room and plenty of games. Bring your friends and family (if they are 18 and over)!

If you can’t make it to PlayStation Experience in person (we’ll miss you!), don’t worry. Per usual, PlayStation.Blog will be offering comprehensive coverage of the event, including breaking news as well as live video through multiple distribution channels. Stay tuned for further details on the event, programming information and much more.

Sony obviously want to delay the terrible reviews of the game to increase the pre-orders!

As a new PS4 owner, I'm going to say this here as I'm bored at work and just thought about it...

Why did developers think changing the L1 to Aim, R1 to Fire to L2 to Aim and R2 to fire was a good idea? Do they not know how real gun triggers work? They are either on or off, and definitely not spongy (this would be hugely bad), no need to force them on analogue buttons. I blame the 360 controller and lazy devs (for not giving me the option to change it in the settings).

I personally liked the change. Never really played any shooters on 360 and it was a bit weird at first but I like it now. They feel more comfortable.

And I played X360 last gen, and the few times I would borrow PS3 to play games, my hands would cramp up because of the unnatural position of bumpers.

It is so more intuitive to shoot with a....um...trigger....than just a little square.

Best thing Sony improved this gen on a controller, imo. Makes playing games so much easier.

Anyone remember that Tidux tweet about two new "AAA" games to be revealed this December?

http://ca.ign.com/articles/2014/10/10/sony-celebrates-playstation-community-with-two-day-event

The event is supposed to take place Dec 6-7. I'm not saying Tidux is right or anything, he's been full of shit more often than not, but what do you guys think are the chances Sony reveals something new at this event?

I think chances are pretty good that we'll see some announcements. Sony has done announcements around the same time at the VGAs, so why not now at this event?

I thought that was supposed to happen early Fall. Hopefully it's sometime this month.
