Well, now that the Playstation meeting is over.
What did you guys think about it?
Made a poll for it
BTW, last poll's winner is Persona 5 with The Last Guardian coming in second by a single vote.

I don't think I have any way of watching those trailers as they were meant to be shown, which is a shame. From what I saw, nothing really impressed. Horizon was the best of the bunch, but gameplay wise it was very basic stuff. Andromeda was a waste of time, still looking forward to it but fancy it to be delayed again.
Slim is at a good price and is the default after the original PS4s are gone iirc.
Pro seems fine. Again a good price point. I guess Sony had a choice. Wait a year and make a more powerful system for a higher price that competes directly with Scorpio, or release a decently upgraded machine this year for a lower price, and one that benefits PSVR sooner. Should sell very well going forward. Roughly 2.5x more powerful is what was expected and is a good upgrade for $100 more imo.
I guess I will exhaust all the games already out on PS4 that won't be forward compatible with the new system and then upgrade next year, maybe around Christmas. I think I can wait that long.
With Slim, Pro and PSVR all arriving in such a short time frame, this should be a massive holiday season for Sony.

As I need a new PS4, the Pro is a definite purchase for me.
I love that it's only $399. That thing will sell so good this holiday it's not even funny.
Sony playing a blinder with those $300 and $400 price tags. I'll be getting the neo anyway and possibly the psvr.
PS4 Pro has the spotlight on many sites.

I think that's why games like Rise of the Tomb Raider will let you choose whether to run in 4K/30 FPS or 1080p/60 FPS.

Did anyone announce any actual NEW games yesterday!? |

It's like Rockstar haven't bothered developing/publishing new games since GTAV released and online microtransactions began generating huge profits.
Same can be said about Valve and Dota 2. Since 2003 Valve developed/published at least 1 game every year but then it stopped in 2013 when Dota 2 and Steam Store was generating huge numbers. I hope they'll return as a game developer one day.
