Guys I just got to know that Sony wouldn't have a Gamescom conference. Is it true? That's really bad if it is O.o

They're doing Paris Gamesweek instead. They still have four conferences throughout the year, double MS.

That's the second PS4 game with a $40 price tag. Smart move in my opinion.
