I have nothing against buying 3rd party games, but i'm not going to do it just for the sake of buying 3rd party games. I'm a gamer 1st, a nintendo fan second.
1. Most of the 3rd party games i MIGHT be interested were sequels (mass effect, batman, darksiders, ninja gaiden) i have a thing about a franchise in my collection sticking on one console. I'm REALLY hoping nintendos big announcement at e3 is bayonetta one will be available for download by the launch of bayonetta 2.
2. Most of the time the nintendo version of games are simply an inferior product, a plain old bad game, or a game i'm just not interested in.
ex's. final fantasy crystal bearers (bad game), just dance, rayman legends (not interested {MIGHT download rayman, but i don't buy sidescrolling platformers retail). cod ghosts/black ops (no community in a mainly online game) I predict watch dogs will be a poor version compared to ps4 and xb1, but better than ps3 and 360. That said it's delayed beyond all the other versions.
Now, after saying all that, i bought alot of 3rd party games for wii. they were original exclusive ip's. I have no more heroes 1 and 2, madworld(top 5 wii game for me), nba jam, fragile dreams, tatsunoku vs capcom, little kings story. Way more 3rd parties than 1st actually. If publishers starting taking chances like that again, then i'll be buying their games.
