Why do Wii U Owners Not Buy 3rd Party Games?

I have to admit, I can't get too upset about missing games that don't interest me anyway (GTA5, Battlefield 4, etc) when I have games like 3D World, Pikmin 3, and Tropical Freeze available. On the other hand, I happily buy third party Wii U games when they meet my standards.
