Forums - Gaming - CoD: Advanced Warfare trailer leaked. Nov 4. Power suits

Story looked interesting, but graphics looked terrible. Also looks like crisis 3 mp which was horrible because they made it to much like cod... I think I'll pass and maybe watch story on you tube

I'm gonna go ahead and call Tremendous Indestructable Pilotable Armored Neuro-interface Suits for short T.I.P.A.N.S to be in this game.

LOL

Oh, and "leaked" my ass.  This thing was ready to go.

Looks a lot like Titanfall without the Titans. Maybe you get a robot as a kill streak.

Will at least rent for the SP.

is this still a thing?

Idk, are you asking if we've slipped into some alternate dimension where Titanfall doesn't exist? Then the answer is no. It was the top selling game of March and is so far the top selling April game. But I don't want to seem like I am making it about that game so no more about it from me, was just a quick observation.

Frankly? Stupid. They should get back to the roots of 'actual relevance to the reality of war' instead of 'let's get super sci fi with it.' They did this sort of thing last year, and the series declined massively. It's only going to get worse. People would have at least been interested in that 'Patriots' WWI idea.

So every fkin COD will be reality of war, god forbid they have a few different series running under the brand.

They have NOTHING but scifi series running under the brand now! Black Ops 2 gets a little weird with it, Ghosts began in space and is set in the future and has a mode with aliens, and now this has you in 'power suits.' Then what, Black Ops 3 with laser beams and pulse cannons comes out, CoD: Poltergiests comes out set entirely on a space station in 2072, and Call of Duty: Moar Advanced comes out where you have to take down the Starship Enterprise? I mean, wtf?!? None of the now three pillars of the series are grounded in reality at this point.

None were overly grounded in reality, add ons for ghost mean little.

Ghosts is as relalistic as MW1, all have been unrealistic scifish bs.

Power suits? What is this, kill la kill?!

Nah man, in this game you play as Yama Jugo trying to find the Nanana collection. But in the end you realise that Kevin Spacey is actually Indiana Nanana in disguise trying to undertake world domination.

I agree with you, even if others won't. Each game has had more and more 'unreal' technology. Which is why I wanted a Gulf War game, the technology was not anything like Black Ops 2 or this with power suits, wasn't advanced, it was dirty and soldiers didn't need target-finders to see what they were aiming at.

Hmm, pie.

This looks bloody fantastic. The more sci-fi games, the merrier.
