Generation 6, the PS2 alone would've made it top but the GC, DC, GBA and Xbox all had amazing line ups. No DLC or microtransactions either.
6th Generation. Nothing could beat those blissful Sunday afternoons playing PS2 until nighttime. Gaming was unadulterated by then.
1990-1999

This. The fifth gen has a very diverse library of games on the Playstation alone and most of these games are quality. Even though there are fewer games that I like on the N64, it's still got a lot of good games.
6th for two reasons only:
Halo and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
5th
N64 and PS1, so many great games to play.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Most of my top 10 games released during the 7th gen, so that gets my vote.
I have to go with the 6th one! The PS2 had many damn games, the GC had many awesome Nintendo games, the original Xbox had Halo, Ninja Gaiden, Blinx and good ports of PC games like Half-Life 2 and Doom 3, while the Dreamcast had many awesome Sega games! A great generation all around!
