Dot worry people his pc will slow down to a crawl once you add AI and character models and destructible environments to it :D

On a serious note though what hardware are you running and what monitor/tv do you own? 7680x4320 is an 8K screen.

My PC wouldnt slow to a crawl at all.....i get 120 - 140 fps on these demos at 4k resolution.

My hardware is 2x 780tis, 16GB of RAM, and a Intel 4770k CPU

Haha, I have a PC that utterly smashes every console ever made. I think a LOT of you guys are spoiled by bullshots companies have put out over the years. This is 100% real time on my own rig, and in motion its damn impressive.

Leave it to Vgchartz to toxic this place up though, I swear every thread, every time.

Holy shit man, he just disagreed with you and you get butthurt? He didn't even insult you or call you out or anything. HE LITERALLY JUST DISAGREED.

Get over yourself, really putting a good front for that "PC master race"

Nah it has nothing to do with "Master Race" or anything like that  he said the games looked like toilet which is factually incorrect.

There is such thing as a wrong opinion. He could say he doesnt like the art style or something and theres no problem but making a generalized statement like UE4 looks like toilet is simply false. Everyone knows its false.

Maybe he's got a good looking toilet.

Not sure why so many people in here are so incredibly unimpressed. If these were the visuals on any currently released game it would be an endless thread about how it's the undisputed graphics king (especially if it was a PS4 exclusive lol)

Anyway, thanks for the shots Ben. Can't wait to see some proper UE4 games in action

These demo's flat out look better than any released game on any console. That being said when I first made the OP I was a total noob at the engine and hadn't figured out how to run everything at their best settings, the images in the OP now are MUCH better than the ones I originally had up.

Guys..I didnt see anyone bring up consoles or PS4 in the thread..yeah theres been some dissapointing comments but i dont think its right to just jump on console owners/PS4 owners.

Those guys might just be dicks in general

Anyways i found links where you can download and run the demos for free, no need to purchase anything as far as I know.

Demos look amazing. Cant wait to try it out myself!

BenV, which elemental demo is it? The original or the updated one?

Eh, those pics don't look very impressive. I would much rather see people than whatever that thing is.

He's posted pics of the console Unreal 4 demo that was done on the PS4, not the PC. Heck knows what this guy is on about posting these pics claiming to be from the UDK.

Um, what are you even talking about. I seriously don't know.........

Then you are clealry full of it and this post is just garabge you are making up. And no surprise you have no changed your OP to reflect your back tracking/dumping the ps4 sreenshot. Also just to let you know, this demo has been out for almost 2 years now.

Its the updated demos. All the screens I posted are from Unreal Engine 4.1 build.

The downloadable demos are from 4.0 and also lack many of the effects the newer builds have. I downloaded them to check and they are extremely limited compared to the full scale engine demos.

That being said they arent bad to download to just stress test your system but dont expect the same level of detail

You have no idea what your talking about. None. At all.

The original shots I took werent from PS4 how the hell would I have the PS4 demo? Its not in the engine. The original shots were lower quality because I was still messing with the engine figuring out how to max it. You dont just boot a demo and click max settings. You have to actually learn your way around the UI and manually adjust things.

Dam i was hoping the elemental demo would be closer to the older version.

Also i didnt know there was a difference between the two. Looks like il try and purchase it if i can.

Probably need to get a new gpu too...although my 560ti hasnt really been stressed for a long time in real gameplay scenarios considering that im happy to be gaming at 1080p 30 FPS. But yeah should still get a new one just for the fun of it!

Its still cool to download them to get an idea of how your rig will run UE4 but yeah its missing a lot of features. You cant customize the settings at all and its just the guided video. Its all rendered real time but its not interactive. In the actual Engine demo you can adjust everything on the fly such as lighting and can move through the environment in real time.
