That's either the greatest idea I've ever heard, or the worst. Probably the worst.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Brilliant and cunning tactic. Has Nintendo hired you to spread this console saving endeavor?

"On my business card I am a corporate president. In my mind I am a game developer. But in my heart I am a gamer." - Satoru Iwata

What are you doing in Walmart, you should get hired by Nintendo. And damn, you had to pay for every preorder!

That's a rookie tactic. You actually need to buy the game to make a statement. Make them think WiiU games are in demand and literally flying off the shelves. I knew Lightning Returns wasn't going to sell well as its predecessors, but I did my part and bought six copies. I made Best Buy sell out their LR copies.

You will think so, but there is a lot of stupid people in high places on the distribution channels, I can give you many samples, at least for my country.

- The distributor charges more than the competing consoles, so Wii U games are (on average) 5 dollars more expensive that the same games on PS3 and Xbox 360 for no other reason than greed

- They refuse to bring many games to the stores even in small quantities and with popular characters, you will believe that they would bring a few copies of the Batman titles (popular character and good to great games) but not even one copy of either Batman Arkham games (City or Origins) was sold on my country

- They hired the Community Manager that is handling the facebook page and Twitter account, but they don't provide him with any information so he makes constants mistakes and is not able to answer any questions, also he cannot promote 3rd party games because those are not brought to the country anyway

- They are not creating community just selling games, I was giving away for FREE, 3 new copies of Ducktales Remastered through my twitter account and even though the game IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE on my country, they did not even retweeted any of my messages

There are more examples, but you get the idea.

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh

that would help.....

Nintendo buyers are flaky... lets understock!

yep helpful!

I'm pretty sure gamestop doesn't give you money back on your pre orders... I wouldn't recommend wasting too much on this

I think that particular problem is related with the issue that the Nintendo distributor does not know anything about videogames in general, they don't know about what people want to play, they don't know about quality games and they had it easy during the Wii days, they would put anything on the shelves and the uninformed parents just got to the store and bought any game that they saw, but now that the sales are low they have to cherry pick the titles and they don't know how, they don't bring quality games of popular characters (like the Batman example), they bring Wipeout, Planes, Angry Birds Trilogy, ESPN Sports Connection, but the Wii U early adopter is not the casual player that buys anything because the console is expensive, and they have not adjusted.
