No, I just said the statement that American anime fans will like the Japanese games on PS3 and Vita is true. I don't think it equates to otaku and I don't think enjoying niche Japanese games pushes you into a stereotypical mold.

Oh, when I see "American Otaku" I don't read it by its actual definition (meant as an insult of the subculture), but the romanticized version used in the West. Like a lot of things brought over, it loses its true meaning. In the States, it's used synonymously with fans of anime and Japanese games.
That is some shocking revelations. Sony is japanese and anime originates in Japan...OMG, mom, MOM!
