This HAS to be a misunderstanding. To make such an out of character post like that,

You definetly must have misundestood him.

what part of necessity was hard to understand? companies like EA chose such a bad way of business that they NEED to do stuff like this to get a few extra dollars.

Wait...so let me get this straight. You think that a Tlou aka Tlof remake is a neccesity?

Because Naum said that he understood the WInd Waker remake, so it is implied that it was not part of the group of remakes such as TlouRE he deemed as milking.

Just to clarify, you are disagreeing with the claim that TlouRE is milking with the counterpoint being that TlouRE or games like it are out of necessity?

Is that right?

Regardless of whether or not we are talking about actually proving this assertion.

Considering MASS EFFECT 4 is probably going to be a prequel, I doubt save games are much of a concern.

OMG

Akuze?

Elysium?

Torfan?

Skyllian Blitz?

First Contact War?

PROMETHEANS?!?!?

So much potential for a new shephard, as long as they don't screw it up.

Meh, I hope they dont do a prequel.  I would much rather have them start a new trilogy after the events of the first.

Me too. A prequal is too constrained. They couldnt make an epic enough story because then everyone would ask why it wasnt referenced in the original trilogy.

Sequal is the way to go. Those prequel stories can be told on spin-offs. Not the main numbered titles.

Also, there was a feedback poll or what the fans wanted and sequal won by alot. If they make a prequal after that, its a big middle finger to the fanbase.

Well considering the third game in the trilogy, I wouldn't be surprised by anything they do. Everyone always harps on the ending of ME3, but that was just the cherry on top. ME3 was one of the most uneven games I've ever played. Some things in ME3 were exceptional(Tuchanka, The Combat), others were just plain awful (Handling of ME2 Cast, Rampant Auto-Dialogue). The contrast between the two made ME3 my least favorite game in the series.

Havent played none of the ME games, so im def getting this

You'd think people who take their time to post a message on a video game message board would have actual insight as to what they are talking about considering the amount of articles that role through this site.

People who are complaining about companies creating remakes are simply ignorant but at the same time act like its their job/duty to give an opinion in a dull-witted/irrational manner.

People like updated graphics, get over it. People like box-sets and single packaged multi-item goods, get over it.

Here's a list of games for PS4/One that are coming or came out this year or next: Halo 5, Kingdom Hearts 3, PvZ Garden Warfare, Quantum Break, Titanfall, The Crew, Deep Down, Destiny, The Division, Drive Club, Dying Light, Infamous SS, MGS 5, Mirrors Edge 2, The Order 1886, Thief, Rainbow Six Patriots, Uncharted 4, Watch Dogs, The Witcher 3.

The next couple of years are fine for gamers. The remakes add to the plethora of games coming out in the coming year. If your not satisfied with the selection then you are just a disgruntled gamer who needs to find a new hobby.

I have 1 and 2 on PC. Never played either of them through to the end. So I never got to 3. If they came with all the DLC and were heavily improved a la Tomb Raider I might rent it from Gamefly.

1 is understanable, but 2?

YOU HAVE TO FINISH 2.

the fate of the world hangs in the balance

I know, I know. I quit on no.1  because I hated the planet exploration. And 2 I did play through quite a bit but I think I just got distracted by life and never went back to it.

That said if they remaster these on next gen consoles and they turn out to have a few more bells and whistles than the originals I will give them a go...

I don't know about necessity, but TLOU remake is certainly a quick, cheap way to get good content out on a system that has insufficient amounts of it.  Alongside Halo 2 remake.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Own all three on PS3 and got all three Platinums, a new entry please Bioware.

Even if mass effect 4 would be in a different universe/timeline it would still be awesome
