Forums - Gaming - Do you have a soft spot for Nintendo?

Not really. I can call them out on their bullshit or congratulate their accomplishments, maybe a bit more of the former recently.

My soft spot for Nintendo has about 5 hp left, Sticker Star made me take a lot of damage but Rosalina in Smash might restore 50 hp in my trust of Nintendo, or a console Kirby Game (Yah Right)

Xenoblade and the past two Zelda releases are on my top 10 best games ever list now, so a lot of my faith in Nintendo's dev teams has been restored even though Golden Sun, Metroid, and Paper Mario heavily disappointed me.

In fact, once X comes out, I'll be buying a Wii U.

Xenoblade was made by Monolith who isn't owned by Nintendo.

afaik

Monolith Soft is a first party Nintendo developer purchased by Nintendo in 2007.

I have a soft spot for nintendo, but my body belongs to Sony.

My first console was a Snes, then PSone,PS2 slim,PS3 super slim.

Now that i have money i'm thinking to buy a WiiU and a PS4 this year.

mmm yes I think it's mostly due to the nostalgia I feel for Mario 64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time and that I like most of the games I've played from some of their IP's.

I don't, nor do i have one for sega, sony or microsoft.

Ace Combat, however, hell yes.

I used to up until PS2. I never bought PS1 because I was such a Nintendo fanboy. I was N64 all the way. But I moved away from Ninty when I got a PS2 and I'm happy I did. It's not the same at all. Oh, let me rephrase. It's exactly the same! After over 25 years it is exactly the same. I credit NES for making me a gamer but I don't owe Nintendo anything and won't force myself to still like it just because of that fact. I don't hate Nintendo, but it's a company that decided to instead change a controller instead of changing the game.

No. The last time i did was more than 15 years ago.
