Dont get me wrong, i kno wiiu will never turn a complete 180 but looking back on ps3/3ds achievements, i say nintendo can still keep the thing alive. A panic company usually ends up doing very crazy things :p  Lets wait intill end of 2015 before calling something a fail! Look at vita for example. In japan it looked almost as dead as it is in US, but wow look at it now, selling evenly with 3DS for the past month now :)

Every game boost the hardware sales a little but if you are trying to say substantial boost then i don't know anymore because the game is coming to 3DS too(First BTW). 3DS is cheaper and have a better library of games,so the casual/mass market will probably choose the 3DS,but the Nintendo Hardcore fans probably will get the WiiU version.

The same happened with Titanfall,people thought it would make a Skyrocket boost on Xone sales and that was not the case(Xone actually sold less Week by Week in march than in february).Older consoles with better library and price caniballize the new console's hardware boost unless the new console have the "Hype train" like PS4 is having.

4 million on 3DS, OK but just 2.5 million on Wii U? Come on, that's a total of 6.5 million total, just 1.5 million ahead of Super Smash Bros 64. combined, they will sell around maybe 10 million or more.

Actually those who believe these games will cause a turnaround only ever try to debunk the opposing sides points (cold hard numbers), but they never actually give any reasonings themselves for why these games will change the Wii U's fortunes other than because they just will.

i think wii u version will receive better modes than 3ds's.
also, i think nintendo will integrate twe versions, like that: if you have the 3ds version and buy the wii u, you get all 3ds version exclusive content to wii u version.
or even get a great discount in wii u version if you register the 3ds's

Please point out and comment source all posters that have claimed this, I'm curious as to which posters you're refering to. If it's just one or two posters, it might make more sense to deal with your ire in private chat.

WiiU owners sure are going to get WiiU version at least. And dont understimate the appeal power of 1080p visuals.

Clickbait title, and the OP's content is claiming things I haven't seen any reasonable person going around claiming left and right. Kaizar is well-known for making outlandish comments and predictions so he really isn't a good example.

But it is definitely possible for the release of Smash Bros to show on launch week Wii U hardware sales higher than PS4 or XBO given that anything can happen to either system during that time, but any predictions about it now really will be unsubstantiated anyway.

Honestly, there is very little point to this thread to begin with.

With the look of things it looks like they're handicapping the Wii U anyways.
