Actually, those comparisons would be the wrong ones, because the point was not to compare the same game across generations or different games within the sam generation; the point was to compare the best of PS3 to the least impressive of PS4.

Yes, those games beat even PC version of Ghost (which given how CoD games since CoD2 are always behind the tech curve is no wonder really), so I find you singling out PS4 version...pretentious.

How is it pretentious? It's simply because they are two products where one directly succeeds the other, thus making it an appropriate case for generational overlap.

And since COD 2? COD 1 was hardly a technical showpiece even in 2003.

The way you do it is just extremely obvious and pointless. You don't even take the technical aspect into account, which makes the comparison even less valid.

You're missing the point. The point not to compare technique, it's to compare the end result. The point is not to compare like for like, it is to demonstrate generational overlap. And Ghosts on PS4 is a PS4 game. A game does not have to be exclusive to be a game for that platform.
