Nintendo's handhelds over time

As you can see by my terrible chart it is in fact North America and Europe were it has sold poorly

Not once has Japan ever outsold NA o EU but so far it is with 3DS.

if 3DS stop producing tomorow and is dead in Japan it did a great 15 million over it is lifetime and that is pretty good..

Why worry. Worrying in general is dumb. Worrying for a corporation is a waste of brain cells. Yes this site is about sales in the video game industry, but when you start worrying about any info it gives you need to pick a new hobby.

if 3ds sales are bad,ps4 sales what is?ratiocinate!it s the third year...as for pokemon ,sales peaked, so do not expect it to surge 3ds sales anymore...at least until winter...smsb will do that!i think sales aren't so bad for april and for the third year,in 2013 same week  sold 47.000 ! ps4 are really bad sales,one month and a half in japan....!objectivity perished!pavolink i am not referring to you...but your post allowed some haters to express their malice

Im sorry but what were people expecting? Really? Its not the holidays and 3ds pretty already fired just about all of there big guns by now. Anyone who really wanted a 3ds has bought it by now. Fact is it peaked last year. Its not going to have another one of those again. Was it a bit early? Maybe? But it was never going to be a DS that was pretty evident from the beginning. Thats just something people are going to have to accept. I would be very shocked if it cant outsell PSP ltd. that would be a big drop from DS.

What major releases has the 3DS seen so far this year in Japan???
Kirby and Yoshi...
Anything else???
If not, then I don't see why anyone would be surprised by this drop in sales...

Sales will go back up when new games are released on it, just like any other console would.

Perhaps it isn't that the 3DS is low, maybe it is that the Vita is high. The Vita releases like 10 games a month in Japan.

And of course they would drop. Japan taxes got fricked up recently.
