Well, I can't say how Sunset Overdrive, The Order, and Quantum Break will turn out. They could flop (doubtful) but I admit 3rd party games are usually better than first party games In my opinion at least.
At this point, I'd suggest waiting until E3. In about a month and a half we'll have a better idea of the route each console is taking, at least in the short term, and there's nothing coming out in the meantime that is really must play.
It really depends on what kind of games you like, especially the ones you mostly play. Both have a pretty good variety right now as it is. Nice selection of exclusives to choose from. Haven't bought one, because I'm trying to slam through my backlog first before I go purchasing an entire new console, but a gun to my head, X1 for me still. It simply has current games I really want. Dead Rising 3, Crimson Dragon, Ryse, Killer Instinct, and Titanfall (I know it's on the 360, but I'd prefer to leave it for the X1).

If you feel familiar with Xbox, get it. It has the games you like and know. But consider if there is any game you like coming in the future.
Even if the PS4 is not too hot on exclusive games right now, the multiplatforms are promising to look good on it. So it would be good to bet in the future.
Right now, I'd tell you to get a PS4 since I like Sony, but in the end it's your decision. You choose what has the best Pros for you.

I really want to play Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, Killer Instinct, and maybe Titanfall. I really don't care about kinect. However, I've seen people jump from 360 to ps4 lately, and I really want to play Infamous Second Son, but it is really the only game out there on PS4 that interests me (killzone and Knack are mediocre). Should I stick with Xbox, or try and see what Playstation has to offer? |
Both have great offering DR3 is fun as hell, and Infamous is sick too. I have both (and a WiiU) i use my PS4 nonstop the freebees sony gives you on PS plus are awesome and if you have never tried some of the great PS titles you are deff missing out. IMO right now the PS4 has the better offerings all things considering and is the better value but you cant go wrong with either. I will say be cautious of Tita Fall if you go XBone IMO dosent come close to living upto they hype happy gaming

As Toastboy pointed out in his own trolly way, the difference between multiplats are even more negligible than last generation. You're also forgeting Project Spark, which looks awesome and unique! |
Saying you'll enjoy Halo because you're looking forward to Destiny is like saying you'll enjoy Crash Bandicoot if you like Uncharted. Just because Bungie made both games does not mean they'll appeal to the same people. And the difference between multiplats is not negligible, there is a clear difference in resolution, which is why I said if you want to primarily play 3rd party games then PS4 is the clear choice. If XBO exclusives are important then go for that.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

True, I loved Crash Bandicoot but disliked Uncharted. But I have high hopes Bungie will make Destiny a great game.

The difference is kinda negligible. 900p upscaled looks basically the same as 1080p. Id be hardpressed to tell the difference. games like tomb raider where the framerate is different is another case. but thats only one game. There are more and more games achieving parity. also halo and destiny are the same genre so they are kinda more similar than crash and uncharted..

Also Indie games will only get better on X1 Below looks really good and Behemoth is working on a game for X1. Get a PS4 if you really care about............ Resolution I guess, and they do have more indie support as of right now. |
This is an ignorant statment you have no insight in what the PS4 has to offer but downplay it because..... oh I see you screen name screams troll
