I wonder if those kind of deals will reach the mainstream consumer. I don't think people who decided that the X1 was too expensive are checking the shops every week for price cuts. Meaning I don't expect any noticeable sale increases.

Not that lucky, it was the equivalent of $720 at launch. Even this price is still the equivalent of $570. At least you get a game now I suppose, but the X1 has always been massively overpriced in the UK, as most consoles are when compared to US.
