The 3D feature is cool. But only a cool gimmick. It isn't something that is really necessary. But I think compared to the 2DS it is worth the money. I mean people pay a lot more money for many dumb gimmicks. In that case the difference in the price between the 2DS and 3DS(XL) is fair and so I would buy it with 3D again.

I played all games with 3D at the beginning and it was nice, but mostly turn it off now.

Used it once, or twice never again after.

I always play 3ds with the 3d on, but in comparison to 3d blu-ray type 3d, it's crap 3d.

it has earned 3d for me with resident evil game. being able to crank the slider to max and further crank the 3d up in the game itself ,, is awesome. playing beyond max for that game is beautiful and works beautifully.

I usually play with 3D on ~75%...I think it makes most games look much better.

Nah, I don't mind the 3D feature, but I don't use it. Would have preferred a lower price or better battery, if I'm honest.

OoT 3D, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Bravely Default all did it for me.

i did not even turn it on when i played through 3d land except for required parts.
