Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Gaming journalists don't like motion controls, which is why the series is usually in this area. Its mainly for the casuals who want to show something off for a party or for people who want a fun work out. Its always been that way.

These reviews don't matter for this type of game. What I'm much more interested in is to see how much the Casual Market "Crash" on home consoles will effect the Kinect. I wonder if MS will be able to handle it better than Nintendo.

Casual gaming on consoles is dead. The sooner MS figures this out, the better.

I only played the jet ski demo. it is great for what it is but the hardcore audience that are early adopters will not jump on this right away. this game will propably sell 200k first week, 50k second, maybe  10k each week for the rest of the year. Bundles will make this game popular!

Huh? What happened to your earlier predictions? Just three days ago you predicted:

  • 200k first week
  • 700k in April
  • 4 million in 2014

I had a great time with the family playing Juar Dance 4 last night on their Wii. While we have all played Assassin's Creed 4, it doesn't have the same fun and a group setting. Some people don't like FPS, so you don't ask them to review Halo. Some people don't like RPG's so you don't ask them to review Skyrim. Many game reviewers seem to hate getting off the couch, so why have them review a game like that?

The Pre Season so far is fun, looking forward to the full game. I think it will should be a good game, especially as they are building on what worked, and people liked before, just making it better.

Casual/Active gaming is never going away.

It's nice that consoles now can give you a variety of games and ways to play them. The more the better.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

~250k-300k retail and 350k-400k from bundles is not unlikely

I have no clue what is likely or not, I was just surprised as your latest prediction seems a lot lower than three days ago.

I'm especially surprised how you expect Kinect Sport Rivals to sell 4 million this year if you predict weekly sales of about 10k from the third week on. You seem to believe that the vast majority of sales will come from bundles - but why should Kinect Sport Rivals bundles sell like "hotcakes" if the retail version doesn't?
