I agree the newer FF's aren't to good, but I think many people agree with that so it's not to uncommon. Another game I tried to get into was Mass Effect 1, I didn't bother playing 2/3 since I'm sure they're FAR better from a gameplay POV, but I loved KOtor so I thought it'd be similar, but the gameplay I wasn't to fond of.It also started a bit to slow for me so I guess I may just be in the minority lol. I like Dragon Age though :P.

Mass effect is slow gameplay wise but people like me remember it for it's story. Plus it's the only EA game I like :P.

Not sure I really HATE any super popular game. Wait... I really hate the Dragon Ball Z games after Budokai Tenchaichi 3; they totally bastardized the series.

Didn't like Infamous One, but didn't hate it. Haven't played God of War, or Gears, so I can't hate them.

I guess I didn't understand the universal acclaim GTA 4 got, so that's my least favorite, popular game. I talk a lot of crap on it, but I don't think I hate it.

i tried but i couldnt get into Halo, GTA is overrated and boring (sleeping dogs is a much better game), I couldnt get into Zelda, Asscreed is SO boring IMO, and Uuncharted 2 is one of the most overrated games ever.

GTA 4 was fun for when it came out I think, but you play it today, and it's a bit disappointing. I mean Every GTA is really about just going around killing people trying to get your stars up, and eventually that does get a bit old. Hopefully GTA6 will some how change the way the formula works.

Pikmin (had MK8 come out when this game did on the WiiU, I would probably still own a WiiU today)

I accept your view but Mario 64 to me was an utterly amazing game with fantastic gameplay, graphics and atmosphere. I truly adored it. A milestone in gaming. I've never actually come across anyone before who didn't like the game. Did you play it when it first came out?

For me major games that I never got on with are; Sonic the hedgehog series including most later sonic games. Not Sonic transformed or Sonic spinball though as I loved those.

Also dare I say the smash bros games. I totally hate them and get no pleasure from them at all despite liking many of the characters. I don't get the appeal at all.
