Not to jump in on your conversation, but just because something is free does not mean you are required to partake in it either.  If you don't like the beer, you don't simply have to drink it because it's free.  Don't drink it.  You still get to watch the game.

I was really hoping to hear more about game impressions. Though the OP may have some issues Mercenary Kings appeals to me greatly so I would like to hear more about the gameplay and it's faults as opposed to it not being good enough for PS+ members or not.

@xenostar the games i listed came from the list fo 100+ games thsi year that sony anounced. Those ones wre in teh box labelled " out this month" . Stealth Inc is already out on both psvita and ps3. It got 80 metacritic which is pretty good. According to PSN EU is out this week. The thing is mercenary king, is that its boring and once you finish it ,, whats the point of playing it. Metal Slug games don't last very long and pointless o freplaying it unless you want to game with friends. They should have released an indie with substantial amount of content,, which Stealth inc ,, looks ot deliver as the ultimate edition includes the DLCs. I mentioned the horror game daylight,, is because i am horror geek. love to play them and was pleasantly suprosed by outlast as it was genuinely a scary game. Steamworld Dig should already out as teh release date for it was 18th of March according to IGN and US PSN blog site.

@xenostar forgot to mention,, its pretty embarassing that the game has slowdown issues considering the PS4 is a very powerful adn the game uses 8 bit graphics. SHould be flawless 60fps.

It's because all the budget for PS+ is being spent giving Vita owners full console releases that aren't even a year old. And you need PS+ on PS4 regardless if you want online play, so no need to do anything to actively with PS+ to encourage migration.

@zekkyou I am looking forward to the xbox one program. I quite liked xbox 360 games with gold as you get to keep the games permanetly even if you don't renew XBOX LIVE Gold membership. Xbox one doesn't ned it as it has alot fo exclusives to play along with multiplatform one. Doesn't need indie for now. Yea can't really complain its free but its really disappointing compared to previus month offerings. Glad you enjoy the game :)

@BMAker well on xbox 360 you do get free games with games with gold. The difference is that you get to keep the game permanently even if you don't renew your subscriptions and as a result the games they offer is not as new as PSN plus ones as psn plus one is a rental service adn once you stop paying it ,, you lose all those games

Haven't played Mercenary Kings myself, but I did watch my buddy play it and it looks like a blast. Plus, it has that classic look I love. Don't really see the reason to complain. If you don't like it, don't download it and play it. Of course, you could have just gone with the One and got NOTHING in return for playing for online.

Personally, I'll just gladly except the 4-5 free games a month Sony give me. Sure, sometimes they're not always my cup of tea, but it's better than nothing. And most of the time there's at least 1-2 great titles in there.
