You: Hey I am hungry I need to eat :(

Sony: here take that free donut.

you: *spite on the donut*

you: Its not a chocolat donut.

Did I resumed it rigth ?

You left out the part where Sony asks you to throw it up (or use a toilet) and give back the donut if you stop going to their donut shop online service.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

It'd be more like paying cover ($50 PS+) to get into the club (Sony's online service). You can buy the drinks you want (buy whatever games are available), but for a few hours at the beginning of the night, they offer free drinks (free games). You get the free drink, then spit it out and be mad that it's not Grey Goose or something (AAA game). You could just buy whatever drinks you want, there's even specials that night (PS+ discounts)....but instead you bitch at the bar's (Sony's) generosity

Man.....I remember that one time I felt entitled to keep content from a service after I stopped subscribing to said service. What a travesty that I can't watch Netflix movies once I stop paying Netflix!

I would dig 1080p PONG! only if it did not drop frames tho...

Seriously, I have not tried mercenary kings, but to ear there may be frame rates issues with it sounds strange... I'll fire it up tonight.

what?

LOLOLOLOL, ever tried buying a game that you want rather then complaining about free games

I do find his rant to be a bit overboard but he is paying for the service I think it's alright to complain about the offerings.

$50 for online with XBL and no games, no complaints. $50 for online with PS+ and free games on top of that (let's be real here. you're only paying for PS+ this gen for online, with free games as an added bonus. PSN was still free, PS+ on PS4 would have a PS3 attach ratio for the service), "he's paying for the service so he can complain"

I really dislike the notion that people can't criticize it because it's "free", it's "a bonus", and the competitors aren't doing it. I personally believe you should be able to critique anything, Especially when the games are behind a pay wall.

I would like to jump in here and state that Resogun was the first PSplus game on PS4 a few months back, and is still one of if not the best game available on PS4 including retail. Outlast was great too. I didn't like Don't Starve and already played Dead Nation on PS3, but DN is a great game.  Mercenary Kings is really fun. Nothing is stopping you from going to the store and getting Second Son, NFS Rivals, and Black Flag, or are you expecting those to just be free also? GIMME GIMME GIMME ENTITLEMENT TRAIN.  Does no one remember the selection of games on PS3 at launch?  It was laughable.  (which also was before we simply received free games)

Well, you could just get nothing in return (other than the ability to play online) and if that was the premise of PS+, you probably wouldn't care. But you get free games, and then complain about the games?

That'd be like going to a sports event and a guy comes down the aisle and offers you a free beer. You only paid to go to the event (playing online) and you wouldn't have got the free beer unless you went to the game in the first place (wouldn't get the free game if you didn't get PS+). Then you drink the beer, spit it out and say "Miller Light?! Why aren't you giving me an IPA?!"....you could just watch the game and not take the beer, you know (paying to play online only). But don't complain about something extra that could, otherwise, not have been there.

It'll be more like going to the game with it being advertised that there will be free beer, and if you go there and don't like the beer, I feel like it's okay to state your opinion about it.

Fair enough. I can agree with. But note that it's on you to accept that the money spent isn't for the free item. If you got PS+ for the free games and not the ability to play online....then you're doing it wrong. And I know with the beer analolgy (I only brought that up because I've gone places with free beer advertised), I'll get into a bar and the free beer will be Old Style or something like that. But I don't complain to the bar, I say "whatever, I didn't have to pay for it". To each his own in that situation, I guess.
