Well, you could just get nothing in return (other than the ability to play online) and if that was the premise of PS+, you probably wouldn't care. But you get free games, and then complain about the games?

That'd be like going to a sports event and a guy comes down the aisle and offers you a free beer. You only paid to go to the event (playing online) and you wouldn't have got the free beer unless you went to the game in the first place (wouldn't get the free game if you didn't get PS+). Then you drink the beer, spit it out and say "Miller Light?! Why aren't you giving me an IPA?!"....you could just watch the game and not take the beer, you know (paying to play online only). But don't complain about something extra that could, otherwise, not have been there.

It'll be more like going to the game with it being advertised that there will be free beer, and if you go there and don't like the beer, I feel like it's okay to state your opinion about it.

Fair enough. I can agree with. But note that it's on you to accept that the money spent isn't for the free item. If you got PS+ for the free games and not the ability to play online....then you're doing it wrong. And I know with the beer analolgy (I only brought that up because I've gone places with free beer advertised), I'll get into a bar and the free beer will be Old Style or something like that. But I don't complain to the bar, I say "whatever, I didn't have to pay for it". To each his own in that situation, I guess.

Not to jump in on your conversation, but just because something is free does not mean you are required to partake in it either.  If you don't like the beer, you don't simply have to drink it because it's free.  Don't drink it.  You still get to watch the game.
