Such a great game!  It was so great that no FF game after it ( there is an exception though) even came close to being that fun!

One of the most innovative, fun, and emotionally moving games ever made. It really has some of the most powerful scenes in gaming and one of the best soundtracks of all time.

I do dislike how people think emotions started in gaming in gen 7 with CG cut-scenes.

I think I'll play the GBA version again.

I've played and own FF6 as FF3 on the SNES, FF Anthology on the PSX, and FF6 Advance on the GBA. It's in my top 10 games of all time.

Perhaps the best game I've ever played. It's in a virtual tie with Final Fantasy Tactics.

I played it on the SNES, bought second-hand after I'd mostly given up on gaming. It literally changed the concept of video-games for me. I consider finding FF VI the most important moment in my gaming life.

Third favorite FF game for me and it was epic! If it comes on the virtual console, I will buy this again
